New Exit for Public Parking

Yattendon Estate has kindly built a new exit from the public parking area to make everthing a little easier than squeezing through a narrow gate into the Farm Business Units like last year.  Now you exit through the outbuildings of the Brewery and can turn right onto the road or left into the Brewery for a cold beer and some great food!

See your car in the Newbury Weekly News

If you are going to exhibit at the Yattendon Classic Vehicle Day on Sunday, June 29, the local newspaper wants to hear from you!

The Newbury Weekly News is inviting you to submit a picture of your vehicle, with some details, in advance of the event. The pictures will then feature in the Newbury Weekly News and on its website Newburytoday. The NWN is part of the newspaper archive at the British Library so your vehicle will feature in its collection for posterity!

Just send a portrait (vertical) photograph of your vehicle to ycvd@newburynews.co.uk along with the following information:

Vintage Teas

We won’t be using the Village Hall this year for vintage style teas or craft stalls as we are moving everything to the Display Field.

Top Nosh, the people who run the amazing Pantry in Yattendon Village will be manning the old fashioned cricket pavilion with it’s delightful veranda as a vintage style tea room this year so expect delicious cakes as well as tea, coffee, light refreshments and soft drinks.

Some of your favourite stallholders who were in the village hall in previous years will be in the display field along with other traders and catering outlets

No Flypast…

Sadly, we have not been successful in getting a BBMF or a Red Arrows flypast this year despite the cancellation of last year’s Lancaster flypast.

We’ll try again for next year….
